Volunteering:
– Individuals,Agencies and Groups: We welcome individuals
as wells as groups to support us in our efforts to improve the lives
of youth and families. The following are volunteer options you
can choose from – feel free to mix and match or create your
own, individualized volunteer job description.

in a recreational or educational activity of your choice. Our
young people really enjoy learning from you. Groups will not exceed
15 youth and may meet one-time or become a regularly scheduled group.
Some examples of group topics include: art, poetry, drug and alcohol
awareness, self-esteem building, cooking, employment readiness and
career options.
2 Administrative Assistant: Spruce Street SCRC

This activity will give you a good understanding of the types of youth
that we serve. All client information is, of course, private
and confidential.

Counselors on the floor supervising youth, preparing meals and running
activities. Maximum number of youth will be 15 with a 3-to-1
ratio of residential counseling staff to youth.

Street SCRC, what we do, the youth and families we serve and the many
strengths that we bring to the community. Assist us in public
relations outreach to various sectors of the community by making presentations
and creating outreach materials.

policy advocacy tools such as legislative talking points and informational
literature. Research pertinent data, including statistics and
success stories, which support the mission and goals of Spruce Street
SCRC.

in the community to help children and families. Which services
exist? Where are the gaps in service? Where are the duplications
of service? Identify how well we are doing as a community to
meet the needs of our community members.
